I cot my broken gear lever repaired and On re assembly it looks like I I ight be missing a spacer next to the nut that secures the gear axel to the single gear lever.
It would appear that the spacer keeps the gear , itself, in the proper position to align with the sears on the gear tree and also allow the lever to also align with the slots that are on the " slot plate" as the lever slides into position in the gear box. it would appear that the bore of the spacer will need a " Notch to clear the hey nub that presses into the notch on the lever gear (idler gear ?) this " presumed" spacer would have a thickness between 1/16"- 3/16" ( Not certain yet )

If anyone is familiar with this set up and can be of help I would appreciate it
Thanks
