Sorensen Center Mic

Nice find. I already broke the bank on a 24 inch caliper, so I wont be needing it. I can always take the ABS max and ABS min then take the average to get center to center, little math but it does the same.
Here is the instructions to an equivalent set from another manufacturer.

Wow, $139! When this came up in a thread a couple of years ago I got my 8" center mic for $40 with case off eBay. Can't remember what the shipping was or if included. Just needed a little cleaning and works perfect.
 
Just for fun, I went looking around on ebay. Several offerings at various lower prices, but this one is by far the cleanest!
 
I agree. It's in better shape than mine is. That's why I posted it.

Looks like they come in 7” and 13”. Why would you choose the shorter one?
 
I could see times when the 4" would come in handy for doing tight places. My 8" has never been used to its full range. Most times I'll bet a 4" would have done it. I never bumped into the short one when I was shopping eBay.
