I will be adding steppers to my old round column mill in the near future. I will most likely mount them in a similar fashion to what the DRO PRO kits use. Next step is to source some suitable cogged gears and belts. steppers will be 1200 oz-in. A 2-3:1 ratio should work.

Can anyone suggest a source for the belts and gears?

For anyone that has done this, I'm all ears for advice and suggestions.

MSC, Amazon and eBay are good sources. I did a quick web search and found several other lesser known suppliers. My mill is direct drive so I can't offer any advice or suggestions.

Happy hunting!
