Hey guys just joined but here's my 1941 SB 14 1/2 I rebuilt over the winter last year!

The whole machine was dismantled. Cleaned and repaired any and all parts.

Also posted is my old 14" SB drill pressure that I sold a few months back.

Very nice looking lathe, and welcome to the forum.
Did you replace the DP with something bigger?

Very Nice after shot! Are you missing your drill press yet? Or do you have something else?

I'm looking to buy a Bridgeport in replacement of the drill press, and yes I do miss it. I had boh spindle types for it, MT2 spindle and the Jacobs tape spindle, it had the full pulled cover and also had the speed attachment.

Good upgrade choice! Some of the knockoffs are worthy candidates as well.

I would have been a buyer on that drill press. I have been hunting for that same one for a couple years now. They NEVER come up for sale around me. That was a gorgeous drill press.

I ended up selling that drill press for $900. I still have yet to come across another one like I had.
