Is that about 4" x 4" sq. tubing for the column Dan? 1/4" tubing or? What is the base foot made from? Looks nice.
 
I think it was 4.5" square tube with 3/16" wall. The rounded edge was done by splitting heavy wall tubing into quarter sections. I also added a chunk of 1/2" plate under the bottom piece to add weight. The feet are made out of some plastic I had, really should be rubber as the plastic doesn't have any dampening ability. Might change that at some point. Since that picture I added a water tray, I'll try to get a updated pic today.
