Starrett 93b tap wrench question ???

Can anyone who has one of these tell me if it has the 60 degree I think it is dimple on top for a centering pin for a follower ???

I have a 91 A & B. There is a 90 degree slot on the body and another on the tightening screw to wrap around the tap.

I would expect it to have that 60º ctr on the top.

I have a 93 C and it does have a 60 deg. center hole on top

Yes, it has a center hole on the end. And my tap handles nowadays collect dust. Hardly use them. I do tap often, but I use gun taps and hold them in a Jacobs drill chuck under power. That center hole in the handle is typically used with a spring center. And the tap handle jaws holding the square end of the tap. It's all kinda hokey for good alignment. Both issues left me wanting something better. I now like to hold the tap in a drill chuck whenever I can…Dave.
