Stradivarius , well not exactly more like junk fiddle

My wife learned to play the violin.
i couldn't carry a tune if it had a handle.

I was playing around with metal drops and developed what i call, a junk fiddle,
as a gift for the wife who never asks for anything.

it only took about 4 hours to make but had its share of frustrating complications
its constructed from a piece of rusty pipe, 2 drops of copper sheet, cut steel nails, brazing rods for the strings,
bent metal and nickle chrome seal wire to simulate a bow

have a look if you have interest!

the heat did its thing and colored the copper with brilliant red, and some purple shades too!
the photos don't really do it justice. it looks better in person!
