I have a 60 to 200 feet per minute horizontal / vertical bandsaw. The available speeds are 60, 100, and 200 fpm.
The project will entail cutting 1/4 inch by 2 inch aluminum. What would be a good blade for this project?
(The blade on the saw is 14 tpi and does a good job on mild steel. This will be a great tool for steel.)
Thanks, Dan

Sure, 200 for any aluminum. I run at nearer 600, cut anywhere from .040 to 2".

My horizontal band saw max speed is 255fpm and that is where I run it. I spray liberal amounts of WD40 on the blade as it is cutting. Almost all of my cutting is 6061.

You should not have to change blade for that. Cut the bars standing on edge so the narrow dimension is presented to the blade.
