I saw an old lathe somewhere (not where I work), I'm thinking about asking if it's for sale. Thom K Carney & Sons (Spelling??)

I'm not sure of the spelling, it's an old overhead belt driven bench lathe thats been converted to run off an electric motor. Anyone ever heard of that brand??

I didn't have my camera with me or I'd have got some pics.

That looks like a lot of fun if you can snag it. They must not be using it, judging by the rust on ways.

As far as I can tell it hasn't been used in quite some time, the calender on the wall beside the lathe is dated 1974

There's also an old shaper under a tarp, a Van Norman milling machine, a camel back drill press, a forge and a band saw, grinder etc.....
