Those Blinkin' Lights!

He shoveled a lot of things during his long and prolific career. Didn't let a bad eye slow him down.

What a great character who played one as an actor.
 
Jack had the funniest line I've ever heard in a movie. Totally unexpected and off the wall humor that had me gasping for breath. In the "Great Texas Train Robbery", the disheartened gang was preparing to disband back to their former life when Willie Nelson (leader of the gang) walked up to ask each member what they were gonna do for the rest of their life. Jack, sitting on the ground fiddling the grass next to his "horse" (a bicycle) looked up at Willie with his crooked gaze and replied "Well, I've got an exciting day tomorrow. Have to tighten the handlebar on my bike."

Having retired to a hobby shop, I can relate only too well to that comment.
