Anyone have a thread protector for a SB 9a, they could spare?

Like this. Homemade by an amateur. But it works.
 
I bought one on ebay that somebody made for one of my SB 9s and made one myself. Since it only has to sit there and not bear any load then you don't really need to cut the thread deep. So,

1. Turn the outside

2. Knurl the outside

3. Drill and bore the hole

4. Cut the thread

5. Drill a hole for the spanner
