Threads

I have a Chinese CM 44214 Teaching myself in my garage. Making ok progress. Now I need to learn to do threads. Which means I have to change gears, and do other complicated things. It's not quick change.

Can anyone point me to a video or detailed instructions? I did a practice thread on a qc Jet but it's not transferring. Thanks.

Other than changing the gears to get the thread required, there is no difference in cutting threads on either machine. As stated, MrPete has many videos on how to operate a lathe.
Do you have a manual for your machine?
