Titanium Fatty Beads

Copy of a post from another forum, 9/2011

So I wanted to try making some fat beads. I put a very fine fully raised knurl on them. Made from 5/8" diameter 6AL4V in 3/8" & 1/2" lengths. The hole is 1/4".

I love the colors that anodized Ti takes on. An acquaintance does custom knives and he sends his to someone who does Disney characters in the most beautiful anodized colors. Always been impressed by that.
 
Beads like that sell comfortable for $50-75, sound like a good source of new tool/equipment money to me!
