I don't get it, that's Alternator vs Tranny.

My son's got a supercharger... instant power..
It's nice.

Either way.. I like em both.. except for the maintenance.

I think the titles are switched. The picture on the right is a turbocharger because it has a turbine in the torque converter. The picture on the left is a supercharger because it is superior to a generator charger

My brother used to drag races boats and cars. Lives in another state, he brought his boat to the Southern Nationals in Augusta once and OMG THOSE SUPERCHARGED BOATS ARE LOUD!!!! I found out the hard way. Those guys are crazy. I drove his car on the drag strip a couple of times and had to retire from racing. I almost wrecked his car with the power that I wasn't used to.

You gotta be nuts to think a turbocharger is more powerful.

You are correct, a supercharger is generally belt driven so the pic on the left is a supercharger
