I love going into a parts store, I know they hate to see me coming. . Anymore just are just teenagers working there, and the managers are in their early 20's You never see an old hand there so nobody there knows squat other than whats on the computer.
So I usually look up the part number I want and tell them I want this............ Then the first thing they ask me is what car are you working on........ well not anymore they don't. I told them a 55 chevy or a 70 nova. The shut up pretty quickly but I have them trained now. Anymore I usually see if I can find it on amazon and order it in.
Better than a 60 mile round trip for a $10 part.
