Tool box micrometer drawer

Many long years ago, I made this divider to keep my micrometers from jostling around in the drawer in the Gerstner box, it is made of 1/4" hard white felt, cut out with an Exacto knife. Although there is not much white left, given the "mechanic's tan" effect; there are cutouts for 0 - 6 mikes, 6" depth mike, all the standards adjusting wrenches, and ball anvil attachments.

Isn't it fun going back and looking at what you made eons ago?
I re-did a home-made machinist's chest that I'd picked up at a swap meet in SoCal back in the '80s.
Used it for storing my drafting equipment.
It was missing it's lid, and grimy as all get out. The drawers were hand formed out of sheet metal and most
were badly bent and dented. Someone had at one time created a very nice chest from scratch.
I took one drawer and made it into a 'compass' drawer for my Vemco's. Hand router'd the profiles.
Wish I knew where the 2" ones have got off to...
