tooling question

I purchased a A.R. Warner 1/2" cuttoff groover right and left hand tool kit #24. I purchased some 60 degree threading HSS inserts for it also. There doesnt look to be any difference between the right hand insert and the left. The boxes that the inserts came in are marked left and right. Does anyone have this tool or know anything about it?

The best I can tell it is witch side the counter sink is of the insert. for witch side of the holder the insert goes on.
