A friend asked me to bore a hole in a part so it was a perfect time to try out the new probe. It was fairly easy to follow the instructions for the “find pocket center” probe routine in Pathpilot. Manually jog the probe to the approximate center of the bore then press the “Find center, set work origin” button and the machine automatically probes the hole and zeroes X and Y at the center. Doesn’t get much easier than that :)
