Looking for way to transport a 3000 10ft lathe about 30 miles.

Tow truck?

Ideally they would set it in garage at my new place.

Flat tilt bed tow truck would get the job done but i would make sure to add some stabilizing framework before i called for the truck or you may risk a tip over.

Call a rigging company.....

Depends do you have a forklift of sorts for load and unload? If so a flatbed will work but heights may be scary. I’ve had good luck with what is called a drop trailer. It’s hydraulic to where when you load or unload the trailer can drop to almost ground level so your really dealing with a bump. Once loaded you raise the trailer to ride height. They’re pretty slick and can be rented at most bigger rental companies like United rental and sunbelt. 10’ might be a issue for those trailers??? Bobcat and a flatbed would work good.

Bolt the lathe to a pallet and hire someone with a roll back used to carry cars.
