Trunnions won't stay aligned -contractor saw

Can't access the link because it requires a log-in.

Is your saw new, or has this problem developed over time? What brand of saw, and is there customer service support
for it? A picture might help as well.

LOL..... Copy and paste your post from that site over here nobody is going to make an account to help you....

without knowing the arrangement, i can only speculate.
i'd be looking to add a spring pin or solid pin to the mount.
the pin may help keep the placement of the trunions

You'd have to be familiar with table saw trunnions to answer.

I made a pair of these PALS alignment / locking brackets, seems ok now and easier to adjust than using a hammer

I woke up this morning wondering if you had checked that the bolts weren't bottoming out out the holes before actually binding down on the trunnions, but it appears you have it figured by now. Hope it does what you want.

Thanks, so far so good. I made studs half 8mm and half 5/16 ( don't have any 8mm nuts) so I don't risk stripping the threads in the cast iron table top.
