I recently purchased a second Clausing 5914 as a parts machine and was lucky enough to get a lot of tooling and accessories.
one of those accessories was a 4 position turret carriage stop. The stop was loosely clamped to the bed and upon further inspection I realized the angle in the vee cutout was steeper than the 70 degree clausing angle. I was able to measure it out at 60 degrees included angle. The older clausings use a 90 degree angle so I'm pretty sure this is some other brand.
What manufacturer(s) used a 60 degree way angle? I want to research the publication archives at vintage machinery and try to identify it.
