This isn't really important, just curiosity but has anybody seen a mill vise like this? It was on my Jet 15 when I bought it.

About 4" wide, opens to 2 3/4", on a swivel base with angle markings. There's a 3/16" wide slot on the back jaw, purpose unknown but occasionally useful for locating round stock. The only identifying mark on it is what may be a part number, "IDBUA75 27". Had a few "oops" holes but overall OK, plenty rigid for a light mill like mine.

It is a Cincinnati tool & cutter grinder vise: they also had a 90 degree knee between the vise and base so that compound angles could be set up. The slot in the back jaw was something a previous owner would have done.

I should have said that there are two 90 degree (graduated) angle knees that CAN be used to generate compound angles with the vise; it is also used as shown (on the grinder) for surface grinding jobs. These angle knees are also used to mount the universal spindle and electric motor drive for cylindrical grinding.
