When I purchased my Craftsman 12 inch a steadyrest came with it. The steadyrest appears to be for a nine inch lathe. It has an inverted "V" on one side of the base and is flat on the other. There is no identification on it other than a faint "WSP-1" stamped near the base. A two inch block of steel came with it to raise it up to the proper height. I would rather trade this to someone for a proper steadyrest for my lathe than continue to fool around with a five pound chunk of steel. Does anyone know what brand of lathe this belongs to?
