Up Big Boy 4-8-8-4 moving again!

Thanks for posting. My Dad worked for UP in Cheyenne before and after WWII. He built the boilers on those big guys. I wonder if he had a hand in "Big Boy".

I used to be a model railroader (HO) and liked the big steam.

I have a set of builders' photos for the Big Boy I bought from the UP about 30 years ago.

Also kept a brass one made by a Korean Company I bought about that time also.

I bought a magazine a while back. Was all about the big boy engines. Learned much about steam locomotives in general after reading. I would be happy to have a model of the big boy. I plan to make a live steam locomotive in HO. but not likely 4-8-8-4.
