I see the post from Heavy Junk dated originally 2012 and a few more recent posts to the thread, but I haven't seen any more info on DRO systems of any kind installed on a VN #12. Maybe I just didn't search correctly. Does anyone else have a dro installed on a 12?
I'm at least 6 months out from possibly doing this but wondering what other people have done.
I most likely will never have the skills to rebuild this old 12, but I'm thinking, even with wear, a dro or the igaging scales might make some of my milling a bit more accurate without rebuilding. Am I correct in that thought?
Even with my limited skills, I love this old machine.
