I think it would be fine. If concerned, maybe add a in line fuse right where you come off the leg. Mike
 
Thanks guys, 30amp breaker works well, light works too I’m waiting on some motor grease then it will get a removable structure around it.
 
You know since it's been sitting outside and it was free, you might consider changing the oil in it since you don't know when it was serviced last.

I used Redline synthetic in mine. Not cheap, but I rely on my compressor and oil is cheaper than a new pump is.
 
Alloy that’s the first thing I did I used synthetic IR oil yup it wasent cheep.
