I love to collect weird and wonderful shop items, i found no exception, the other day on ebay.
an unused 4 in 1 metal worker, from just before i was born- 51 years ago
it was made for work on up to 16 Ga metal.
have a look!

i have tried, the shear, punch and bender- i have not riveted yet!

It’s a bit hard to see in the pics, but I’m assuming the mechanical advantage comes from some sort of a cam action between the handle and the round plate? Or is there another piece in there that comes into play?

Hi Frank,
yes sir, there is a cam follower located at the base of the operators handle and the moving shear/former/punch plate
 
I pity the fool who doesn't own a Little Giant metalworker :)

Thanks, Mike. Now I have another thing to watch for on ebay ... as if I don't already have enough tools. ;)
