Waiting for me to get home

I get off duty at 21:30 from my shift, my chocolate Lab was the one that waited for me, but we put him down last month. My wife took this picture last night at 21:00, and she was there till I got home. She's facing the street with a chain link rolling gate in front of her. She may be taking over....all 10 lbs of her.

My 1.5 yr old Labradoodle comes full speed across the house when I get home from work. Shoves her nose under my hand and follows me around until I spend at least a minutes scratching her ears.

It is amazing how attached we become to our pets. Still miss my back lab that has been gone for about a year. The new German shepherd is a handful. Everything at the farm would disappear with out the puppy dogs.
