Looking for a 4 jaw independent, with a backing plate already installed for a Southbend heavy ten 2 1/4 x 8tpi
 
Lots out there, Ck , Craigslist , eBay , even Facebook has a machinist sale site , HGR and there's some auction sites BTM is one I've had great deals with held weekly ends on Wednesday starts on Monday online. They ship ... some don't...

I have a 8" Horton with back plate but shipping would be high..
 
I have a Howe 8" independent 4 jaw chuck that has never been in service. It does not have the mounting parts for it, might be what you are looking for. You can make me an offer or I will trade for a 5" or 6" independent 4 jaw chuck.
