We went to get an oil change yesterday

It was $4.41 this morning when I filled up my commuter car.

I drive 108 miles per day to work and back, so I fill up a lot even at 30mpg. But, I now own my home (well me and the bank) and have a 1700 square foot shop right on Silverlake. It's worth the drive.

Did you convert to CAD? Gasbuddy says it is 3.28 there.

My 5.20 is in USD and US gal

It was up to 1.78CAD/L here which is 6.72CAD/US gal

I had a 63 biscayne when I went to college, Now have a 18 Volt because gas here is $5.20/US gal
We had a '63 Biscayne too, which we nick-named the "tank." Three on the tree with a tiny 6 -- looked just like this Impala.

Now this is a time warp that could suck me in for years, literally. What an unbelievable archive of another time and place...
It will do that. With perhaps 150K pages, that's a lot of reading.

Love those old South Bend lathe ads and prices! One thing you don't get with the online version is the smell of those old magazines

Yeah, My old magazines smell kind of musty.

Oh man I love this stuff.
Yeah, I could get lost in those.
We had a box of old American Rifleman magazines dropped off at the dealership.
Going back to the early sixties.
The value of a dollar back then......
