I've been using a Central Machinery 4x6 band saw for two or three years, but no matter how much adjusting I do I can't get it to consistently make a straight cut. Plus, it's really too small for some of the material I'd like to cut and I end up having to use an abrasive chop saw. I'm getting close to completing my shop and I don't want to use a chop saw around my precision tools. I've been watching for a larger band saw for a while, and one is in a nearby auction this weekend. It's a Wellsaw Model 600. It appears to have seen a lot of use, but looks to be in pretty good shape. From what I have found on the internet, Wellsaw seems to have a very good reputation.

Does anybody here have an opinion, good or bad, on this model saw? Also, what would be a reasonable price for one of these? I've looked all over the internet and can't seem to find any of these for sale right now for comparison. Larger band saws like this are very rare in my area. I live in a machinery desert.
