Got these in a tool lot a while back. Unlike Mr Pete, I have no answer.

I have seen PTO shafts that have that shape. Maybe they are cut offs saved after shortening
a bunch of shafts up.

What's the material? My guess is bushings with anti-rotation tabs on the o.d.

If they are cast iron and the hole is round they are used to true up hone mandrels
