Huey Lewis & the News - Small World album. Not one of his best albums, but the saxophone (played by Stan Getz) on Small World Part 2, Slammin’, and overall arrangement, is worth it for me. I like it... There was an interview where he mentions that his dad encouraged him to make a record with Stan Getz.. Here, found it:

The Story Behind the Collaboration
  • The Meeting: While at a memorial for saxophonist Zoot Sims in San Francisco, Stan Getz tapped Huey Lewis on the shoulder, introduced himself, and said, "Why don't you let me play on some of your s***? I can play that s*** too".
  • The Advice: Lewis was unsure about the collaboration initially, but his father, a huge jazz fan, insisted, "If you don't take Getz up on that offer, I will never, ever forgive you".
  • The Song: The band was working on the album Small World. Huey Lewis and the News created a 7 1/2-minute, jazzy track specially designed as a vehicle for Getz's improvisational style.
  • The Recording: Getz came in and nailed his solo, which was featured on "Small World Part Two." Lewis described the session as a "music lesson" and "unbelievable".

Made it down to their concert in Richmond last year , what a blast ! Jerry is the master on the Dobro ! Alison ? Always the best and kicking it on the bluegrass songs .
