What Did You Buy Today?

A bunch of oddball stuff. I'm not really looking for some of this stuff yet. Just seems to pop up.

First is a power plant that will fit the narrow hood of the '37 dodge. Was only a few miles down the road. Trans might be coming next week.
It's a 300cu inline 6. For those of you who know, yes it's going in a dodge...

If you want to make that thing perform like a V8 check out https://cliffordperformance.net/ 6=8

I have built a 292 Straight 6 Chevy and a 300 Straight 6 Ford using part from Clifford's and both would hang with comparably built V8's. The old straight 6's were better balanced than the V8's.
Yep, A straight 6 has no secondary imbalance. Plus them pistons are big! Lots of torque.
https://cliffordperformance.net/ is now bookmarked! Thanks for the link and PDF, guys.

Scored over the week end
This should turn a CBN wheel w/no issues I would think!!
Looks to be in fins condition as well.
Spools up w/no unusual sounds or vebration.

Bought this HF 3in1 sheet metal machine used for half the price of a new one, and it appears to be heavier built than the current line, and still has the protective film on it. Also picked up a new M18 4 1/2" grinder that I've been meaning to get for some time now. Picked one that has a more user friendly trigger than the standard paddle model, and has a built in brake. Have a 6" ceramic cut off wheel mounted on it, and the plan is to use it mostly out side the shop. Seems to have plenty of power, but haven't had time to put it to the test yet. Mike

Bit the bullet and bought a CNC mill. Came in a couple of weeks quicker than they expected.
Now building a stand and enclosure for it.
Mr Hansen was kind enough to give me the dimensions for the lifting arm, Thanks

Then 10 freebees today, Kelly landed in with red oak logs. About 10 to 20 inch dia, all but one clear.
