A friend of mine who rebuilds wrecked trucks has one and he loves it. He says it works faster than a stripper disc on an angle grinder to remove paint.
I don’t have an immediate need for it but the price was right.
I have been looking at that to create a brushed finish on stainless. Can you give us some follow up/review please?
Today’s haul.
Morse taper adapter, group of them $5, the 2" and 3" standards free.
Seal pullers and drifts, free.
Nicholson, long angle lathe files $10, new.
12" frame level, $40, 0.0002" in 10".
Set of Milling cutters, $40 only a few of them have been used, some are very sharp.

Picked up a Clausing 8520 in pretty good shape! Will need a good amount of work but for the price and opportunity to have some actual american iron in my smaller workspace i couldn't help but pick it up. Was also very glad that its got a pretty good amount of documentation on here and youtube, which has made me feel a lot more confident about getting it up to standards quicker.
