I don't do FB so can't see what it is, but I wouldn't give him a penny under $900 for it.
(I love spending other people's money!)

Haha,
Okay it's a Kennedy top middle and lower rolling chest full of tools.
Let me see if I can post pics somehow.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't think it's a good deal cause you said they offered it to you for $800 but the screenshot of the ad shows $700 obo. ;)

I was curious so simply asked if it was still available. He/She said they had an offer for $775. They said $800 would take it. I was intersted because it's local, sort of.

Looks like a steal if everything is in good useable condition. I've seen just the Kennedy boxes empty go for that price.

I see, even at $800 it's a good price.

to be honest, anytime someone does the "selling for X, get some people interested so jack up the price" trick I walk away. Can't be bothered dealing with people like that. Either post it for a price that you're happy with and take it, or put it up on an auction site.

I'd bet if you walked up and peeled off seven dead Franklins they'd take it. Either way, seven or eight hundred, that's not bad at all in my opinion. There's some good quality equipment there.

True that & that is how I look at things as well. If a seller tells me, someone is already going to pay this for it, I'll let you have it for this, then I just walk away. So if that person already said they'll buy it then why isn't it sold already?

Tell them you will drive to them and pick it up and save them the trip for $650.
