What type and weight oil do you use in your mills. My machine has 3 separate oil tanks and I have no idea what type of lubrication oil I am supposed to run. My machine is a Deber built in 1986 and there are zero manuals available for it and I have exhausted all other sources. So I think I will just see what is in your machines and choose the closest to my mill.

This is my machine

I just asked this same question a couple weeks ago so maybe I can answer. ISO 68 (SAE 20W) in gearbox and ISO 32 (SAE 10W) ball oilers. There is much debate about additives and if you should use them or not....Now, does that goliath have the same requirements as little baby stuff from China? Subscribed to see the answers!

In the gearbox of my mill, I use universal tractor fluid. Specifically John Deere Hy-Gard as that is what we have a lot of. You can over think about lubes for things like this.
