Curious of what you 3 in 1 owners are able to do with your machine. Thanks

That's nice, I've been toying with the idea of getting a smithy granite. Thanks

Dataporter! I was loving your steam/air engines already, and then ran into you Tesla Coil???!!!! Or is it a Van de Graaff generator??? Cooool!!

I made a Jacobs ladder out of an old neon sign transformer which was fun, and cool at Halloween...

Thanks Bernie! It's a Tesla Coil... The toroid on the top is 12" in diameter to give you some perspective. 15 KV 60 MA Neon Sign Transformer for the power supply. Slowly, gathering parts and such to build another one. Bigger!

Hah hah! Isn't that always how it goes hah hah.. I look forward to seeing it!

These are pics of one of the more unusual things that I have machined with my lil Chizou HQ400/3. Its a dual-cavity soap mold made from brass. The mold presses bars of soap out of a long extrusion. At the time I was toying around with a home CNC kit. I took up the backlash on the leadscrews with springs. I did a few jobs with it as a CNC but eventually returned it to its former conventional glory. The mold was mainly machined by positioning the x/y and plunging on the z with a ballnose (inside) or champher tool (outside the cavity).
