I found a pulley that came with my 101 lathe, but it doesn't seem to go with my particular machine. It appears to be zamak and has "5A" molded in. The bore is 0.500" in diameter. Overall diameter is 4.975", and width is 0.766". Anyone know where this goes? I looked in my parts breakdown and there is no 5A listed. A web search didn't turn up anything either.

Probably either a generic single step pulley or fits something not made by Atlas. "5A" is not an Atlas or Clausing part number, and I can't think of any single step pulley used by Atlas.

And BTW, saying that you have a 101 lathe could mean any of over 100 different machines of various swings and made for various purposes.

I thought maybe it was to some other lathe and thought someone would know. Thanks!

I just wrote 101 because I thought this part could go to any Atlas Craftsman machine.

I think I'll just keep it in a drawer in case I ever need it, since it fits on the 1/2" motor shaft.
