What kind of reamers are these?

The votes are swinging toward masonry bits, so of nonexistent use in the lathe...I was wonderjng how they would be chucked and centered.
 

Here's the holder that they go with. A true hammer drill. You hit it with a hammer and rotate slightly between blows.
 
I can remember using the solid one piece rawlplug drills, surprisingly efficient until you hit a hard stone in concrete then it took a bit more effort.
 
They look like what used to be called "star" drills for masonry . I still have a boxfull down in the basement that I occasionally use for cinderblock .
 
In the70s I had a Milwaukee hammer drill that used only "A" taper shank drills like those shown.
