I've had this in my box for years. I have no idea what it might be. It has a square hole to hold a tool bit like a boring bar. It indexes in and out when turning the index collar. It has a thrust bearing next to the collar. It has a tapered shaft adapter. It has two set screws to lock the index collar.It has a small collar with a spanner wench hole and a set screw. It has a oil button beside the index collar.It has one set screw to hold in what looks like the boring bar. Stamped into the index collar is 70250 S.J. Co.

That was a Scully Jones tool of some sort.
They made a number of very unique tools and tool holders.

Thanks... From the catalog I think this is what I have...
Looks like I will be putting this up for sale or trade.
It's a little beyond anything i would use.
