Actually , newspaper ink is the most worstest crap I have ever needed to clean off my tools . The only thing that worked was to soak them in WD40 for a day and then throw them in the parts washer .

We had a clueless parent use some on their kids Kub Kar (http://wiki.scouts.ca/en/Kub_Kars) one year to lube the wheels.
By the end of the day it was all over the tracks, the gym floor, and dozens of peoples' hands.
This was despite the warnings that any car dripping lubrication of any kind would be disqualified.
