If you look over near the right margin above the Reply button, you should see a Thumbs Up button. To give someone a like, click that button. If you hover the mouse pointer over the icon, a box pops up giving you several other ikons that you can sellect. Hovering the mouse pointer over any of them tells you what it is, Thumbs up replaced the original Likes. If you click on one of those icons, the icon appears at or near the left margin just to the right of your Country name and to the right of a Thumbs Up if you have received any. The Thumbs Up icon replaces the word "Likes" which used to appear in the same location.
