Now have the project bike. A nice '79 that had been set up with a full Vetter rig, then stripped a halfway turned cafe. It still had most of the original equipment except mufflers and seat. I have a '78 set of mufflers (identical to '79) and picked up a '75-77 seat for $50 that I'll recover with a '78-79 cover. Still needs that chrome passenger grab bar that everyone takes off to put on ugly (and uncomfortable) K&Q seats. I wonder where they all are?
