Estate sale this week with a 'Hybird' Auction of the good stuff.
The person had one heck of a nice shop setup, he built all his cabinets and they were very fine, and also went
very high. He even built boxes for all his power hand tools.
I managed to come away with one piece that I believe is a VG addition to my shop inventory.
My better half pointed it out to me since I had mentioned that I'd like to get one 'someday', I've been staying
away from CL and Estate Sale since we're trying to get a roof on the house...
It's a 6" and I'm hoping maybe this winter I can get back to building tool chests.

Nice score! You will be able to do some good work sith that.

1. What brand / model# is it?
2. If you don't mind me asking, How much did that set you back?

I have one very much like that and use it often. The only difference appears to be the guard (mine is green). It is a good machine; in 28 years, I have replaced only two bearings and a few screws in the base (and sharpened the blades numerous times).

I have the exact same jointer. They are good units for what they are. Nice score.

Grizzly 6" model no. G1182, manual looks to be 1991... hmmmmm....

$191.00 -- hopefully not too much over what they go for.
