I am looking for a combination table to use with my very large industrial strength drill press for minor milling operations. I can't afford a "real" mill, but I think I can do what I need to do with a good combination table on this drill press. What have you got laying around collecting dust? Let me know.

Have you considered a shaper or horizontal mill.
They often go for less dollars than a vertical mill, and come in sizes ranging from bench top to an entire stall in your garage.

Well, yes but.......the thing is, I don't "need" a mill, but I wouldn't mind being able to do a little milling with my big drill press if I had a compound table. I would buy a table top mill in a heartbeat if one became available locally, but here in the wastelands of Florida that is not likely. My new to me Craftsman lathe has a complete milling attachmente, drawbar and cutters, so I can probably get by for now. Whatever turns up first at a price I can afford and within driving distance of my home is the right thing to do.
