I use a Series 1, 2HP BP mill and my right side crank handle is difficult to get to engage, and will easily disengage if I give it half a chance. I'm afraid its going to fully fail soon.

What is involved in making it right. I may as well do both ends if its not too expensive.

Thanks

You must have something a little different, I've never seen one that could be disengaged on a manual machine. What ever mechanism is in there must be pretty simple, so I would take it apart and have a look-see. Maybe just some swarf in the works.

Maybe I am wording it wrong, I said right side "crank handle" is difficult to get to engage, not the table.

I think I have already solved it.

Bridge port p/n 12150780 Assembly, Ball Crank, Quick Release. Around $75.00 on the market.

Just the handle grip. It free spins when you first grab it and engages after 1/4 turn or so before engaging and moving the table, its to keep one from bumping into it and moving the table unintentionally.

Thanks

Cool, I've never seen that system before. I learn something new everyday.

Thanks, that was going to be another question after searching. Much better!
