X2 Head Weight

I need to counter balance the head on my CNC conversion. It is all together and adjusted. I really don't want to take it apart again. The spring do-hicky doesn't allow full travel and there is no place to mount the air spring kit. I know how I want to mount the ballance. I just don't know how much weight I need. So, has anyone weighed the head of their mini mill with motor on it?
