Good day,

I am hoping to get some assistance from the amazing people on here.

I recently inherited an old Britannia metal lathe. I am trying to find out a little more about it.

I have already tried searching the lathe.uk website and couldnt seem to find the right model, or maybe i was just blind.

Any help would be amazing and thank you in advance.

Does anyone know what model or age this lathe is? Guessing the motor was retrofitted due to the extra frame work which i have since removed.

Try .jpg or .png

.heic is not an easy format to view and often needs converting to jpg or png for others to be able to see the images.

(had to google .heic not familiar with that extension)

Will try again. All the photos have been changed to .jpg.

Thanks all for the help.

I really like the use of t-slots on the top of the cross-slide. That would make it so easy to use a plith tool post, a rear tool-post or even a milling fixture! Great design!

Welcome to the group!
