Did I get ripped ? Maybe $80 was too much. And could someone tell me the use of the items in pic #2 ?

It looks like you did fine for $80.

The top items you are referring to in picture 2 are ejector pins. They make great punches, but are too hard for do much machining on. It is possible to mill or turn them with carbide cutters. Used in injection molding, and die casting.


Next is adjustable indicator shafts for use with a indicator mag base





And last a scribe (foot?) for a height gauge

I think you did fine. You did not hit the jackpot, but you did not lose money either. The taps and milling bit alone are worth what you paid.

If them reamers are half good you done fine on that alone compared to new. I like them boxes of "junk". It's like a treasure hunt ahahaha.
 
The items at the top of pic 2 look like the punches we used in coining presses. We ground the tips to size for punching small holes.
